We kept up with Fabrizio tradition and made a blanket fort on Christmas eve. The kids slept in it. Mike is reading Twas the NIght Before Christmas to them.
Shawn made Mike and I a special Christmas present for Christmas. It was a wreath made from his hand prints.

Happy new year to you all. I can't believe it is 2009 already. Time really does fly by. The kids had a good Christmas. We ended up with a white Christmas. They had two weeks off of school and got to spend time with dad. We celebrated New Years at home with New York City so we where in bed by 9:30. What partiers we are. Shawn was out by 8:30. Shawn started all day preschool and is in school longer than Rhiannon. He is a little cranky in the evenings so we will have to see how this goes. I just started my winter quarter of school and I have the same teacher for both classes, he assigns alot of papers. I have my work cut out for me. I can't wait till I'm done. Six more classes after this quarter. Mike is still working evenings 6-7 days a week. With the kids new schedule sometimes they don't see him. So it is a little tough. At least he does have to pick them up on the days I'm at school so he gets to spend 10 minutes with them. At least we have jobs. Shawn and Rhiannon are both doing well in school. Rhiannon is starting to read and Shawn is doing well with counting and shapes and letters.
