Rhiannon danced to Magic Toy Shop this year for the Christmas show.
We had an incident with our hamster. The night of Rhiannon's recital we came home and found our hamster dead. He was not moving and was stiff. My dad put him in the trash can outside in the freezing cold. He was out there for about 45 minutes to an hour and I went out to say goodbye to it and it was alive. We had to warm him up for awhile. Rhiannon enjoyed nursing it back to health. The cold must of shocked it back to life.
The kids really enjoy helping with Lillyanne. They are such good helpers.
The kids in front of the tree Christmas morning.Well I am done with maternity leave and back to work. It is rough. I went back a couple of weeks ago. I just cannot seem to figure out where the time goes. I am still working on trying to work from home but it has been a very time consuming slow process. I am not giving up though. I am working and coming home to do that. I also start school again on Monday.
The kids are so awesome. We love them so much. I have been starting to feel sad lately about how fast the time goes. They can drive me absolutely crazy and I feel like I'm yelling but then I think they are not going to be like this for long. I am really trying to enjoy the time I have with them. They are just so fun. They are the biggest helpers with Lillyanne and they love her so much they are already asking for another baby.
The holidays were nice. We had a nice quiet Christmas. My parents came over and spent the day with us. The kids were real excited. On Christmas eve we made our traditional blanket fort and the kids made musical instruments with paper towel rolls. It was alot of fun.
Rhiannon had to have a tooth pulled yesterday. It was infected and has been hurting for awhile. At least it was done with the assistance of grandma. When the doctor started to poke the needle in a she started crying I started to get a little teary eyed too. But once the gas and numbness kicked in she did not feel a thing. She was acting very silly. She was my brave little girl.
Mike is still working 6 nights a week. So it is me and the kids at night. He was awarded employee of the month this past month so he has enjoyed the luxury of VIP parking this month, which will be nice tomorrow night "New Year's Eve" when he gets off at 1 or 2 am. I can't remember what time he actually got home last year.
Happy New Year to every body. Me and the kids are having a party at home, they invited Grandma to join us. We will be dancing, putting together a puzzle (tradition in my family), eating junk food and having fun.
