Shawn lost his first tooth on September 19th at school. He was so excited. He has another one pretty loose right next to the one he lost. Every time he would have us wiggle his tooth to see if it was ready to come out,
Lillyanne would make us check her teeth too.
We got some goldfish, We have a fantail goldfish, a black moor goldfish and a redcap oranda goldfish. Lillyanne has been fascinated with them and will just lay there watching them. Except for one day a few days after we got them she climbed across the counter got the fish food and dumped the whole canister in there.
Shawn and Rhiannon are LOVING soccer. They are doing really good at it. Little naturals. Rhiannon likes to play goalie. Shawn just likes to be there kicking the ball and scoring.

Family Haircuts. I got my haircut short. No more pony tails. When I came home Rhiannon really wanted her
hair cut, so she talked me into cutting her hair, then Mike asked me to cut his. I have never done a male haircut.
But gave it a try. Turned out pretty good.

Rhiannon and Shawn had an eye doctor appointment. I took her to a different doctor just to confirm what the last doctor said. She does need to wear her glasses ALL the time and an eye patch over her right eye for two hours a day. She has a lazy eye on her left and is nearly blind in it. They dilated both of their eyes and she had a soccer game right after. She had a hard time seeing but did pretty well.

Lillyanne and turned 2. We just did a small family birthday party. I like to design things and made little invitations and decorations from the image I scanned on her monkey jammies.

We made chocolate chip cookie dough cupcakes with a chocolate buttercream frosting.

She slept through the beginning of her party and we just went ahead and ate. When she finally woke up we did the cupcakes and presents. She kept complaining her tummy hurt her and holding her tummy.
She was not into being sang to.

Rhiannon is doing well in school so far. Her first few weeks we were getting progress reports that she was talking to much. But now she is doing much better and getting perfect progress reports. The got Netbooks this year. She is really enjoying using it. They are learning how to email, chat, make documents, and power point presentations. They do a lot of their math and reading on it too. It is some program with AT&T. They donated Netbooks to our school district to test how well it helps with learning.

Shawn is doing great too. He is loving school. He sits so good and pays attention that when he gets home he is bouncing off the walls. But I would rather him be good at school and drive me crazy at home. Soccer has been a good thing for him to get energy out. His coach coaches his oldest sons (age 8) team too and Shawn has been practicing with them too. He loves to cook and help in the kitchen anytime he can. He makes dinner sometimes. He also helped with Lillyanne's cupcakes.

Lillyanne is a ham. Her hair is finally growing and getting longer. It has a little curl to it. She is talking more and copying EVERYTHING the two older ones do. She is now fully potty trained. She surprised us a few days before her birthday. Before we went to Utah she would go #2 on potty every time. Then we came home and she regressed. But now she does both pretty much every time. She had her 2 year check up the other day. She is 32 inches and 21 pounds. She is in the bottom of the charts for her height and below the charts for her weight. No concern though because she is proportionate and continuing to grow.

For our last weekend before the kids went back to school we had a fun day around Tahoe. We went miniature golfing, then went up to see my dad play at Embassy Suites. We went to see ZOLTAR and walked around the Marriot.  The kids really like the movie "Big" with Tom Hanks. So ever since they saw ZOLTAR at the Marriot they have been begging to go see it. So they went. They were disappointed because it gave a fortune instead of allowing you to make a wish.

I hate that summer is over already but the kids enjoy being back in school and REALLY like their teachers. Shawn got Rhiannon's 1st grade teacher. We are so happy because Mrs. Wilmett is so awesome. Rhiannon got Mrs. Culler. She seems really nice. She also is making the kids be more responsible for their homework and school stuff. Rhiannon is enjoying being a fashionista and picking out her clothes. Lillyanne gets very excited when they come home from school and just wants to play with them.

Shawn and Rhiannon had their first soccer games and they are playing really well. Rhiannon is the tiniest on her team but the most daring.  She just gets in there and gets the ball. She even volunteered to be goalie and did a really good job. Shawn is doing great too and LOVES to score.
On Labor day weekend we were given free tickets to ride the DIXIE during the paddle boat races. The kids were super excited and had so much fun. Our boat won. But they gave the trophey to the other boat. We were all confused about that and I found out later that they predetermine before the race who will win. If they are going to do that then our boat should have made it look more realistic. We were about two boat lengths in front.
We also went up to Kahle Park again to watch the fireworks. The kids like it there. They like to play at the park and then see the fireworks from a high spot. We parked in the garage and the kids sat on the wall while my mom and I sat in chairs behind the car. It was a great view.

I am enjoying the fact that I do not need to sign up for classes right now and am working towards building my Rodan + Fields business. [Quick Promo] ...So if any of you know of anyone that is looking for great products to make wrinkles disappear, get rid of pimples, get rid of sun damage or help sensitive skin, then I'm the gal.

Mike did a few weekends of disc golf over the summer and enjoyed getting out and doing that. I think he is relieved school is back in. He enjoyed having the extra time to spend with the kids but I think having all three at home and dealing with the fights and such were overwhelming to him. They all did have a lot of fun though and had a really good summer together.

Well that is all for now. I always think of things I should have shared after I publish the post.
