Fall Fun

We went to the Kokanee Festival and the kids really liked it but there were not many fish. They always like to go to the underground part and look at the fish. We like to do that walk it is so nice and perfect for the kids.
They found another caterpillar. We put in a jar and it quickly cocooned. So now we have two jars with two cocoons.
COLD soccer games.
Grandma with Analyn and Lillyanne.
Shawn's last game.
Trophy he would not hold it and pose so I had to take a picture with it next to him.
Mike with Analyn.
Rhiannon playing goalie, her favorite position.
Her team won first place in tournaments and went on to represent Tahoe in Cookie's Best in Carson City. They did not win in the champion tournament. I swear something must be in Tahoe water that makes our athletes smaller. I always think they are normal size then we go off the hill and are up against bigger players. In her first game she was matched up with a girl double her size in height and width. She kept body slamming Rhiannon.
James and Jenny and their three kiddos Elizabeth, Clay and Analyn came to visit because Rhiannon got baptized that weekend. After soccer games we drove down to the Corley Ranch and did the corn maze. This was Shawn' favorite part.
Rhiannon's favorite part.
Lillyanne really wanted to pet a horse. Closest thing to it. But she was scared and wouldn't go near the other horses.
Hay ride to the maze.
Cousins sharing some popcorn.
Rhiannon finally got baptized. She has been so excited about it since she was 8. Between Mike and my dads summer schedules it didn't work out to happen till October 9. It was really special program. Mike baptized her, grandpa confirmed her. Aunt Jenny and Elizabeth sang a beautiful song. Uncle James made it special with a wonderful talk that was very touching, some of her teaches and family friends said some really nice words about her.
Shawn turned 6. Crazy huh? He really wanted to make homemade cupcakes to share with his class and he wanted to do it all. We do not have a mixer so our frosting did not come out and we had to use store bought.
Mike and Shawn's birthday celebration. Mike turned 36. October is a busy month in our home.

This was the first of three dress up nights. They went to their school's harvest festival on Friday night. The second night on Saturday was our churches Trunk or Treat and pot luck.
Lillyanne coloring with grandma.
This one they are getting ready for Halloween night.
This next series of pictures I just love. The kids got my camera and took some pictures.
Oh yeah and Shawn lost another tooth so he has a big hole in his lower mouth.
