Great Uncle Allen and Shawn going for a ride.Well the kids started school. Rhiannon is loving kindergarten. She seems tired by the end of the day though. It is all day kindergarten. She is their from. 9:10 to 3:20. When I pick her up she is moody and emotional. But she likes it and can't wait to go the next day. When we dropped her off the first day she wasn't scared she couldn't get rid of us fast enough. Shawn on the other hand was nervous. he new his teacher from church and from the two years Rhiannon went there. But he just seemed real tense and when it came to saying goodbye he cried. Mike says each day he gets better. The teacher says he is doing great.
We went to Utah the last week of summer and it was fun. The kids got to ride on Great grandpas lawn mower tractor with him, they thought that was so cool. They pretended to be great grandpa and take turns pretending to ride it when he wasn't on it. They got to ride a horse, and most important for Shawn was he got to ride on a motorcycle with his great Uncle Allan. He talked about that for so long. Now he wants to get a green one. We also got to take them to the zoo.
Work is slowing down for Mike and he gets to have some quiet time to himself now while the kids are in school. So that is good for him.
