The kids like to carry the hamster (Pirate) in their hoods and drive him around in their car.
This is Piper.We got a dog. Mike and I caved in. The kids wanted a dog. They act like dogs all the time. Her name is Piper and she is 5 months old. We got her from the Humane Society. She is really good with the kids. She doesn't beg for food and she is Crate/Kennel trained. Which is nice. She is very sweet and likes to cuddle at night. The only down sides that we have to work on is she likes to jump on people and she is not going to the bathroom outside. She was doggie door trained but we do not have one. I think it would be really cold to get one too. She is an Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler. I never heard of this kind of dog before until we were going to get a puppy. They had 2 month old puppies that where Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler's they where really cute. But the kids saw Piper and really wanted her. They love her and play with her. She has a ton of energy.
