It has been awhile, this post is photo heavy and as usual there are extra photos in the slideshow --->
Me and the kids went to my parents house to die eggs on Friday before Easter.
And we made cake lollipops.
On Saturday we did our Easter Egg hunt with the eggs we died. The weather was not nice that weekend. (Which seems to be the story since then.) Our Easter panned out to be different activities over the course of the whole weekend. Between Mike's and my dad's schedules it is hard to plan things sometimes.

Shawn found a recipe for baked donuts and wanted to make them. He loves to cook and bake.
We went to a kids fair that was in the parking lot of my work and Rhiannon signed up to get a message.

The missionary at our church made Lillyanne a rocker.
She found her Halloween costume and insisted on putting it on.
We took the giant built in desk out to make room for Rhiannon's room.

Lillyanne tells us most of the time when she has to go potty, so we looked for underwear for her. They do not come smaller than 2 T and she is still in a size 1 diaper so pullups do not come in her size. I love my mom, she sewed Lillyanne custom sized underwear. They look like doll undies.

Rhiannon and Shawn are almost done with school. They both did really well. The weather here has been horrible and for the past two weeks most of their end of year field trips have been canceled or postponed.
They have now associated family reunions with funerals. Mike’s Aunt called the other night to tell us about the family reunion and Rhiannon asked who died? We had a family reunion one year that turned into my Uncle’s funeral and last year both my grandpa and grandma died (my dads parents). So we went to those funerals, I think it is all the family that gets together for them, that they associated it to a reunion.
Lillyanne is starting to talk more. She is such a kick. She loves to make silly faces. She also likes to wear the kids clothes and shoes. She really gets excited when Rhiannon and Shawn come home from school. This summer is going to be fun for her, she will have them around all day.
Rhiannon now has her own room, which I questioned when I was working so hard and moving so much stuff into my room. But now that it is done it is really nice. I can put them in their own rooms for time out and she can go in her room and shut the door when she has homework. She loves to be a big (bossy) sister, and play with Shawn and Lillyanne. She reads to them and plays school teaching them math and other school things.
Shawn got his hair cut. His summer doo. He loves to help in the kitchen and bake and cook. He still has a ton of energy, which is another reason I’m so disappointed with the weather. He loves to read, draw and do puzzles. He also plays in his room, he can play for hours using his imagination.
I’m done with school and I graduate June 24. Seems I’m still busy all the time. I’m working days at the Advertising agency and night at home with Rodan+Fields. Mike is busy with his 6 nights a week and summer is hitting, they are not allowed to take any time off during the summer. The kids will see him more during the days. Rhiannon is aleady planning the summer. She thinks that dad will be taking them to the movies and all kinds of other places.
